ABC Wednesday - Q for Quirky

The Duke of York's is Brighton's best cinema although it's not necessarily the most comfortable. One of its claims to fame are the quirky legs sticking out of the roof! I took these pics while I was stuck in a traffic jam. Electric windows on a car are great for taking quick photos on the move!

The Picture House has been around since 1910 and is soon to have its 100th birthday. Go Girl!

    Thanks for all your comments. I believe the legs came originally from an Oxford cinema and arrived in Brighton in 1991.

    Gosh, those are funny! I'm pretty sure they weren't there when I used to stay with an aunt in Hove as a child! I'd have noticed! LOL!
