Meet Martha, the ferret
I did a double take when I saw this family taking their pet ferrets on a walkabout. I thought at first it was a rat but then I asked (always a good idea!) and they put me right. Her brother is called Biscuit who was a little camera shy.
It was Martha's lucky day because these girls were tucking into delicious cakes and probably had lots of sticky stuff on their fingers.
A ferret is a small carnivorous mammal, belonging to the weasel family, or mustelidae and is related to the otter, badger, mink and weasel.

The ferret in the bag is strange and interesting, but what really catches the eye in this photo is the cleavage and red nails of the woman in the background! LOL! Forgive me for being irreverant! :-)
ReplyDeleteYes, I did wonder about the cleavage! But I love the red nails - so I thought I'd leave it all in.
ReplyDeleteI also spotted the cupcake! Looks like the ferret has her eye on it too!
ReplyDeleteCute ferret, I quite liked the idea of having a pet one. Nothing wrong with a white rat (pet) my first school the headmistress had one that used to live in her pockets. Shrieking usually meant new mother had discovered him.

Paul, that's funny! I used to have pet hamsters and gerbils but I really wanted a dog. Had to wait ages till that came true.
ReplyDeleteI'm not all that keen on pet rodents, I'm afraid. But I do love people-watching in places like your Brighton!
ReplyDeleteheheheh:D I once met a man in a pub in Newcastle who had a crow named Jimmy in a paperbag! Jimmy loved beer!
ReplyDeleteyou are mistaken for thinking ferrets are rodents, they are infact Canines.
