Here's a little caterpillar going about his business. I was just about to take another close up when our Golden Retriever came along to see what I was up to. She didn't even see the caterpillar, just wanted to say hello to me cause I was down on the ground . . .

Animals are like that when you get down into their territory! A nice hairy looking caterpillar not like the annoying fat green things that demolish my basil ...

I have yet to see a caterpillar this year. Glad you got him before the dog got in on the act.
